Luigi Boccuto is a clinical geneticist who worked for several years with a focus on hereditary cancer, overgrowth syndromes and intellectual disability (ID) syndromes. Currently, he is working as Research Scientist and faculty member at the Greenwood Genetic Center, focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability (ID), metabolic arrays, and overgrowth conditions. He provides a general Genetic Counseling service where presenting in a simple way complex and difficult to understand information on genetic risks, tests and diagnosis. It can help understand the significance of genetic conditions in relation to cultural, personal and family contexts and also discuss available options, provide references to educational services, support groups, and other health professionals and community or state services.
